Earlene Ware Carter (70) passed away on November 22, 2016 in San Diego, CA. She was the wife of LaVern Carter. They shared 43 years of marriage together.

Born in Madison, Indiana on August 21, 1946. She was the daughter of Earl and Marguerite Ware. She graduated from KOFA High School in Yuma, AZ. in 1964. She then graduated from Pacific Christian College in Long Beach, CA. with a music degree in 1969. She worked as a music teacher, child care provider, church secretary, choir/kids choir director/worship leader. She was also co owner...

Earlene Ware Carter (70) passed away on November 22, 2016 in San Diego, CA. She was the wife of LaVern Carter. They shared 43 years of marriage together.

Born in Madison, Indiana on August 21, 1946. She was the daughter of Earl and Marguerite Ware. She graduated from KOFA High School in Yuma, AZ. in 1964. She then graduated from Pacific Christian College in Long Beach, CA. with a music degree in 1969. She worked as a music teacher, child care provider, church secretary, choir/kids choir director/worship leader. She was also co owner of Kelco Packaging Products. She was a member of Lemon Grove Christian Church for 40 years. She enjoyed taking pictures of her friends and family, flower arranging, cooking and baking and teaching children about Jesus. She especially loved spending time with her 3 grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love for Jesus, love for children and love for her family.

Earlene is survived by her husband LaVern, daughter Leah (Donald) Laing of Spring Valley, CA. Grandchildren Elijah Jacob, Isaac Carter and Rebekah Olivia Laing. Sister Donna (Ray) Carter of Yuma, AZ. Sister in Law Margaret Ware Dyson of Yuma, AZ. and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father: Earl Leroy Ware, mother Marguerite Virginia Ware, Brothers Charles Leroy "Sonny" Ware and Earl Lynn Ware and sister Mary Louise Watterson.

Earlene's celebration of life service will be on Saturday December 3rd at 1pm at Lemon Grove Christian Church 6970 San Miguel Ave Lemon Grove, Ca. 91945. Flower donations may be sent directly to Lemon Grove Christian Church and/ or donations made be made to Lemon Grove Christian Church Youth/Children's Ministries.
